Like denim, this classic and hard-wearing belt will only get better with age as it moulds to your shape and develops a rich patina.
€90.00–€105.00 Inc. VAT where appropriate.
Description: The 35 mm belt will curve to fit your body and develop beautiful patina with regular use.
Features: The belt has a matching keeper and comes fitted with a UK made solid brass ‘West End’ style buckle. The end of the strap is cut at the same angle as All General Made’s pentagon logo. The belt is finished with their signature ‘Belt Up’ and All General Made stamps.
Construction: Each belt is cut by hand and then hand-sewn with durable waxed ‘Tiger’ thread.
Materials: The belt is constructed from approximately 4 mm thick leather. The thickness of the leather varies slightly depending on what part of the hide is cut from. The vegetable tanned version is made from English vegetable tanned leather from Joseph Clayton & Sons of Chesterfield, England. The brown and black versions are constructed from oak bark tanned English Bridle leather from J&FJ Baker of Colyton, England. This leather comes from the only remaining oak bark tannery in the UK. Oak bark tanning takes a minimum of 12 months and this long, gentle process protects the natural fibres of the hide.
Maintenance: The leather doesn’t need much maintenance but should you wish, we recommend using Mink Oil every now and then to keep the leather healthy. With the un-dyed veg tan leather, the marks and scars the cow had in life are visible, making each belt unique.
Made in: Each item is made in the home/workshop of founders Jamie and Anna in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Sizing: All General Made belts are measured in inches and are true-to-size. To find your size, measure a belt that fit you from the end of the strap (not including buckle) to the middle hole. A size 32 belt would measure 32″ to the middle hole and would have a further 2 holes on either side giving a size range of 30″-34″. Stretch is limited to less than an inch, but please take this into consideration nevertheless. For special size requests, please get in touch.
Special delivery: Please note that this item is made to order with a manufacturing time of 3-5 days from the time you place your order.

Here at Denimhunters, we love natural, vegetable tanned leather’s ability to age and grow with the owner, much like raw denim.
Below are a couple of tips and tricks to get you started safely on the break-in process.
Leave the leather product out in the sun for as long as possible, whenever possible. The sun naturally darkens the leather and brings out its full beauty.
To achieve a honey tone to the leather, treat it with beeswax and let it sit in the sunlight. For a deeper tone, use Red Wing boot oil and leave it in the sun.
Wear your naturally tanned leather product with your raw denim. The leather will soak up indigo from your raw denim jeans. It will first be a beautiful indigo blue and over time and use will darken with the leather. The result is breathtaking.
