All about the Black Rabbit Messier Bomber Jacket
Look: A close-fitting hooded bomber jacket in a bluntly modern high-tech shell fabric.
Fit: Slim in silhouette with fitted kimono-type sleeves. The fit was developed from a sweat-jacket to keep the silhouette close and aggressive.
Construction: This garment is lightly-lined with cotton jersey to give a superior feel against the skin. The stitching is relatively bulky for this type of fabric, giving a distinct ripple to the seams. The pocket welts are constructed from folded heavy-duty nylon webbing. The main zip is covered by piped seams featuring thick 7mm cord.
Fabric: The tactical polyester has a semi-matte appearance and produces delicately shimmering reflections as it folds. An extremely high quality “memory” fabric, it retains creases just as linen would. Similar to linen it has a full and springy hand. Woven compactly using beautifully “technical” polyester with exceptional bulk and superb water resistance. PU coated on the backside. The best polyester fabrics are made in either Korea or Japan – this one is Korean.
Trims: Twin insignia patches on the sleeves, featuring a removable BR patch in welded Velcro. Lacquered brass tube and cable-tie puller on the YKK (Japan) main zip. Reverse mounted snaps on front pockets – applied through the pocket welts leaving the pocket flap free of metal. Velcro and tape tabs to stow drawstrings. The Black Rabbit Messier IV Bomber Jacket has a Tranche II print on the inside of the hood and a red Tranche II label inside.[/col][/row]
