Indigo People Bring Two New Scarves For AW14 Collection

Indigo People A/W 2014

Recently, the Dutch brand Indigo People that specialises in scarves launched their Autumn/Winter 2014 lookbook. To celebrate this, along with their first anniversary, they released two specials in their new collection: the Katori and the Otobe. These scarves show a perfect fusion between style and craftmanship. To emphasise their uniqueness, all scarves are delivered in a cotton bag that has been hand dyed in natural indigo.

It’s only been a year since Indigo People came to life, and they have already become well known in the denim community for their hand dyed and hand loomed indigo scarves made by different weaving communities in the Far East. Indigo People has proven to deliver an amazing product and the brand is getting a lot of attention worldwide.

This first year has been a roller coaster ride, and a very important one. In the press release accompanying the AW 2014 lookbook they write:

’’For Indigo People, it was a year of experimenting, reinventing, and close collaboration with the artisans from several weaving communities. It was also a year of re-exploring the denim world and meeting a lot of indigo lovers who inspired and motivated us to carry on our passion.’’

Indigo People’s scarves are already being stocked by several stores across Europe, and if the trend continues we might even seen them shipped oversees.
