Rivet and Hide Cement Their Place on the Denim Map With IHXRH-666S Iron Heart Collab Jean
For the first time, Iron Heart’s 666S “Devil’s Fit” is paired with their famous 21 oz. denim. The combination of fit and fabric is something that seems so inherently suited that we are surprised we haven’t seen it before.
The Right Place and Time For the 666S in 21 oz.
Perhaps Iron Heart was waiting for the right place and time to combine the popular fit and the heavy denim. With the Rivet and Hide IHXRH-666S jean that place and time has obviously been found.
With the help of Giles and Paula Padmore of Iron Heart International, Rivet and Hide owner Danny Hodgson puts together the very best qualities of the brand:
“The Devil’s Fit 666S is very popular; slim and tapered but still suitable to wear with boots. The 21 oz. sanforized signature denim has to be the most comfortable to wear in that weight range. It moulds to your body shape like no other. So our collaboration married both fit and denim,” says Hodgson.
Iron Hearts is famous for its 21 oz. signature denim. For such a heavy fabric it is incredibly soft and supple due to the unique sanforization process and low tension weave. And the IHXRH-666S features a bunch of design and construction details that surely will bring denim purists and Iron Heart fans to the edge of their seats.

Unique Fading Opportunities
Pairing the 21 oz. denim with the 666S fit gives us a glimpse into the differing fades from differing fits. There are so many wonderful fading examples of the 634 fit; contrasting and comparing how the differing fits fade will be fascinating. This is one we will certainly be keeping an eye on.
